Executive Summary

The Pase PSC  situated in the Aceh Province right in the middle of the North Sumatra Basin, a world class hydrocarbon basin consisting of multiple proven petroleum systems across different stratigraphic intervals from the Eocene to the Mio-Pliocene. The North Sumatra Basin is one of the 170 basins globally increasing the chance of success in the exploration and production investment.

Pase PSC awarded to Mobil Pase Inc. on February 12, 1981 before it was transferred to TPI in 2009, Pase block located in Aceh Province, Indonesia covered about 2,305 km2.

After relinquishment in 1984, 1986 and 1987, the contract area is currently about 922 km2.

TPI has been producing gas and condensate from 2009 to 2014 to fulfill the Exxon Mobil LNG contract. In March 2018, TPI is commencing to produce Gas and Condensate to fulfill Medan and North Sumatra market, as well as working for undeveloped discoveries and additional exploration potential.

Asset Profile

  • On-shore 922 KM² Contract area of PSC of Pase Working Area.
  • PSC contract has been extended for 20 years until 2032.
  • The asset has been operated by TPI since 2009 with an excellent more than 3700 days operating safety with Zero incident and accident.
  • World-class infrastructures have been built and operated by Mobil Pase Inc. and transferred to Pertamina in 2015. TPI has a Facility Sharing Agreement with Pertamina.
  • Gas Sales Agreement with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (subsidiary of Pertamina) to supply gas for industries and household in Medan and North Sumatra.
